Ultimate Payload Potential

The Ford Transit 5T is the flagship model in the range, offering customers the choice of a van or chassis cab rated to 5,000 kg gross vehicle mass, delivering an additional 300kg over the previous largest variant.

The "Jumbo" panel van version is available in L4 high roof form, providing 15.1 cubic metres of space, a large enough load area to accommodate five Euro pallets. The bodysides have been reinforced to aid carrying heavier cargo.

Powering the Transit 5T is a Heavy Duty Truck 2.0 EcoBlue 170 PS diesel engine, available with the choice of a six-speed manual or an optional 10-speed automatic gearbox. All versions of the Transit 5T are rear wheel drive
 
The chassis features uprated wheels , wider rear tyres, hub assemblies and brakes. These measures enhance ease of operation and ensure the Transit 5T is easy to maintain.
